Do you enjoy volunteering? Feel good helping to serve and support? Like socializing and making new friends?

As a Grandes Dames member, you can help support the efforts of Rubicon Theatre Company through volunteerism. You’ll be invited to quarterly luncheons featuring outstanding professional talent, get sneak-previews of upcoming Rubicon shows, make new friends, and learn about ways to get more involved.

Mission

The mission of the Grandes Dames is to support the activities of Rubicon Theatre Company through volunteerism and fund raising.

With your tax-deductible minimum annual membership contribution of $40, you'll receive:

  • Invitations to all Grandes Dames luncheons
  • Invitations to Grandes Dames "Nights Out"
  • Your name listed in Rubicon programs
  • A tax-deduction "thank you" letter
  • A personal contact to help mentor you and assign you to volunteer teams of your choice

SPECIAL PERFORMANCE BY DAVIS GAINES
Best-known as the star of the Broadway and LA companies of Phantom of the Opera, Davis Gaines sings holiday love songs and the cast and director of Trying give you a preview of our upcoming show. For this special luncheon (which takes place on President's Day—a holiday for most businesses) any Grandes Dames who brings their spouse or a friend gets entered into a drawing for gift certificates.


Cost: $35 for Grandes Dames Members and Guests
Price includes gourmet 3-course luncheon (including Tower Club’s famous chocolate lava cake for dessert), non-alcoholic beverage, tax, tip and entertainment.

Grandes Dames Founders
The Grandes Dames was founded in 1999 by Rubicon patrons Dottie Novatt, Rosa Lee Measures, Barbara Meister, Sandra Laby, and Nancy Gregory. The group is governed by an active volunteer Board of Directors that meets monthly.
