JOB SUMMARY: Part-time Guest Service Associate for up to 16-20 hours per week. Support the mission of the company by being “the face” of the organization via exceptional customer focused contact with patrons both in-person and over the phone. Maintaining the integrity of the company ticketing database, including accurate data entry following established protocols set with box office.  Includes both weekday daytime office hours and evening “Will Call” performance check-in hours.  

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand the company mission and participate in organizational and departmental retreats and planning efforts.
  • Obtain and maintain a practical working knowledge of AudienceView ticketing system.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
  • Exhibit a self-starting work ethic as shifts will include solo, unsupervised hours.
  • Communicate professionally and warmly in-person, over the phone and in written communications, providing a consistent exemplary level of customer service.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a timely manner.
  • Participate in the seasonal subscription drive including process, systems and fulfillment.
  • Processing tickets: take and process orders, collect payments, assign seats, print tickets, prepare tickets for Will Call, manage exchanges, organize and oversee the will call desk.
  • Distribute mail to all staff daily as assigned.
  • Support outbound calling campaigns for individual and group ticket sales per Guest Services Director’s instructions.
  • Record earned and contributed income: record checks, cash and charges using daily income reports and ticketing system reports.
  • Help to update and maintain accuracy of database systems and records.
  • Perform clerical tasks as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Hourly remuneration will begin at $16/hour, increasing to $16.50 per hour in January of 2025, and may be negotiable based on experience.
