Interactive Half-Day
Workshops for All Ages

$1,200 – $1,600
Depending on the number of students.

(Spanish speaker will be provided if necessary)

Our workshops blend the magic of theatrical storytelling, with hands-on activities, tailored to various age groups. These workshops may be conducted in a classroom, lunchroom, or auditorium at your school, or at Rubicon’s warehouse on Walter Street in Ventura. Here’s what students can anticipate:

  • Engaging discussions that delve into theatre history, the art of improvisation, and a modern connection to performance today.
  • Practical experiences in acting and improvisation, and team-building exercises designed to foster creativity and build confidence.
  • Age-appropriate activities ranging from theatre games for younger students to advanced scene study and performance techniques for older participants.

Our workshops are helmed by Rubicon’s new Education and Outreach Director Ray Cuevas, an Oxnard native and recent graduate (summa cum laude) from University of Arizona’s BFA Acting Program. For larger groups, the team will include additional working professionals (a bilingual team member is available upon request.)

    Dates:

February through May, we are able to schedule general workshops. Please provide preferred first and second choice options and time of day and we will do our best to accommodate!
